We’re proud to support a good number of local and national causes and believe it’s a key part of our business to do what we can to ensure we give back. Charity Collaboration Products
We believe in giving back to our local community and have begun to work with some of our local heroes to produce collaborative products which make a real difference to those volunteering or working on Arran. We do all the leg work including design, production and handling which means the charities have no costs associated with these items. Check out the latest featured products below:

AMRT - Arran Mountain Rescue Team Goatfell T-Shirts & Hoodies £6,861 - up to October 2024
We’re really proud to have worked with the Arran Mountain Rescue Team to design and produce a brand new Goatfell T-Shirt; an awesome memento of your visit to Arran or after returning from your own epic adventure to it’s summit. Our local volunteers are on call 365 days a year to support those in need up on the peaks of Arran and for every T-shirt sold we donate £3 for adults and £2 for kids. COAST - Community of Arran Seabed Trust T-Shirts & Hoodies £3,392 - up to October 2024
In 2023 we began our collaboration with COAST our local seabed charity. Together we designed a range of T-Shirts and Hoodies which have an iconic map of Arran’s coastline on the back. £3 of every adult and £2 for each kids’ hoodie sold gets donated directly to COAST. Responsible for the creation of Lamlash No Take Zone (NTZ) and the South Arran Marine Protected Area (MPA) we’re proud to support their work through the sale of these items. Find out more...

AMRT - Arran Mountain Rescue Team Branded Accessories + Dog Leads £2,482.25 so far in 2024
Arran Mountain Rescue Team is a charitable organization made up of men and women from all over the Island. Team members are all volunteers and give up their time freely when an emergency arises. We stock and sell a range of AMRT branded products to support their life saving work – you simply can’t say you’ve been to Arran if you haven’t bought one of their buffs. We also stock the AMRT repurposed dog leads; made from old climbing robe used on rescues here on Arran these dog leads are a real must have item and have flown out of store since arriving. RNLI - Calendars and Christmas Cards £1606.75 for winter 2024
Our local volunteer lifeboat crew are on call 365 days a year responding to emergencies on the waters around Arran. This winter we stocked some beautiful calendars and Christmas cards on behalf of the RNLI. All profits from this were fed directly back to and up 53% on last year! We're stocking their gear again in late 2025 so check back in again then. Find out more...

Arran Trust - OS Isle of Arran Picnic blanket £1,190 - up to October 2024
The Arran Trust funds projects which look after the beautiful landscapes and environment of Arran. With your help, the Trust can work alongside businesses and community groups to improve sustainable practices and aims to safeguard the future of this beautiful island. We donate £5 from every sale of our OS Isle of Arran Picnic blanket to the trust. In October 2024 we donated £195 bringing our running total to £1,190. Find out more...

Our in-store book and media area located in the foyer generates additional funds for Arran’s Cancer Support charity, known as ArCaS. A voluntary organisation which provides free and confidential services to patients across Arran and one which we’re proud to partner with year in year out. Find out more...

COAST - Community of Arran Seabed Trust £60.42 from 2023 last tin sent
The champions of the Lamlash No Take Zone (NTZ) and South Arran Marine Protected Area (MPA) work tirelessly to protect and restore sea life and sustainable livelihoods around Arran and the Clyde. Their work enables us all to enjoy the magical coastline of Arran and ensure we have incredible coastal waters to enjoy for generations to come. RSPB - Pin Badge Donations £193.48 in 2024 so far
We offer wide selection of pin badges for purchase at our tills. Each badge costs £1 and we stock them in a huge range of designs. In 2023 we raised £904.58. Great for bags and t-shirts alike. We get the totals for this each year with most shops generating around £150 per year. 2022 was incredible and thanks to you we raised a huge amount of money for this important charity. Lochranza and Catacol Village Hall Raffle Vouchers
The Lochranza and Catacol Village Hall committee run annual events to raise funds for the upkeep of this essential community hub on the North end of the island which provides a wide range of facilities to locals in this more remote part of Arran.

Mrs Claus Appeal - Ayshire Vouchers
24 hour hike on Arran completed by local Police Officers and Royal Navy service personnel to raise money for the Mrs Claus appeal - directly impacting children and families in poverty within our wider community.

Arran Farmers Show Vouchers
This years Arran Farmers Show will take place on Wednesday 2nd August and we are delighted to provide raffle prizes for this years event.

RNLI - Annual Station Open Day Vouchers
The annual station open day returned in 2023 and we we’re delighted to provided gift vouchers for the crew’s charity raffle which raised funds for the local station. Raffle money is used by the crew to buy extra equipment and ensure our local volunteers are looked after throughout the year.

Arran Folk Festival Vouchers
This years folk festival runs from the 9th - 11th June 2023 and we were delighted to provide raffle prizes for this years event.

Lochranza & Catacol Daffodil Tea Vouchers
Raising funds for the maintenance costs of the village hall. This year the event raised over £1000 and we were delighted to support with a raffle prize.

Brodick Primary School Summer Fete Vouchers
Join in the fun on Tuesday 6th June between 5-6:30pm with a range of stalls, raffle and BBQ - money goes back to the local primary school

COAST - RV COAST Explorer Launch Raffle Vouchers
The big day has arrived for our local seabed charity with the launch of their purpose built research boat RV COAST Explorer. The charity has setup the islands No Take Zone and Marine Protected Area; make sure you visit their discovery centre in Lamlash! Find out more...

Nick Ray - Life Afloat Scotland Equipment
Nick set off on his 11714 mile kayak journey in 2015 and has broken his epic adventure down into chunks which he’s been completely since. Stopping on Arran in late summer it was incredible to meet Nick, hear about his adventure and support him with equipment along with our contacts a Terra Nova Tents. Raising funds for Odyssey and Seaful charities Nick’s adventures are certainly one to follow over on Twitter! Find out more...

Daniel McNeil’s walk around Britain for SSAFA Clothing & Equipment
Daniel McNeil is walking around the entire UK coastline (16,000 miles) for the Armed Forces charity SSAFA. We met Daniel during his time on Arran in the summer of 2022 and it was a real pleasure to be able to support him with some essential kit for his journey ahead. His trip should take roughly 3 years to complete and he hopes to help inspire those who want to follow their dreams, help veterans with financial difficulties and break the stigma around mental health. AMRT - Arran Mountain Rescue Team
Ensuring that our mountain hero’s have the very best gear is of critical importance and we’re proud to work with the Arran Mountain Rescue Team to ensure they have access to gear when they need it. Using our existing and new supply base we’ve produced specialist and essential equipment and wear for our local team through out the year. Find out more...

Being able to support our local lifeboat crew when they need essential gear for on the water at short notice is a key part of our service. We’re able to access our wide range of Watersports suppliers to ensure the crew get any extra equipment they need for themselves and the boat outside of their main supply. Find out more...

Arran Geopark
The Arran Geopark is managed as part of The Arran Access Trust by a group of volunteers and several employees. Providing a seasonal ranger service for the island, maintaining paths and protecting important geological sites across Arran. We’ve been delighted to support the GeoPark with equipment and gear when needed throughout the season. We're also pushing for UNESCO Global Geopark Status. Find out more...
