Rab camping gear

Rab began back in 1981 in the attic of a small, terraced house in Sheffield. This is where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Hand-stitched and devised with his own ingenious eye, Rab's experience from years spent in the mountains was apparent in his designs, and soon there was popular demand both from friends and the growing local climbing community. We have a wide range of Rab sleeping bags in our collection which speak to the care and the effort that Rab still puts into each and every one of their designs. These, along with the Rab backpacks and other pieces of gear can be relied upon to ensure that you are best looked after when you are out in the elements.

Things didn't stop there at the first sleeping bag for Rab Carrington, though, and their full range today is testament to how they have grown. Word soon spread, and the Sheffield attic became a factory floor, creating sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, those honest, hard-wearing designs can be found all over the world; wherever adventurous individuals face up to the elements, Rab camping gear and clothing will be found. As we said, this doesn't mean that you have to be climbing a mountain to find a use for Rab's range.
