Trespass was established in 1938 under the name Jacobs & Turner Ltd. It was set up in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland, and initially was composed of 12 machinists who worked in a 1200 square foot warehouse. Some of the first clothing which they made was uniforms for large organisations such as the local police. This tells you about the ethos of the company that would become Trespass. They have a grounding in crafting clothing that really needs to pass the test in terms of longevity, hardiness, protection and high performance. All of these qualities are carried through into their designs today. On top of that, you will find that today's ranges from Trespass are supremely comfortable, and they look just as good as they feel too! In time, as Trespass's success began to grow, it was then that they started to move onto manufacturing waterproof clothing for outdoor adventuring. And since then, they have not looked back!
